Day 72: Zero Day #2

May 25, 2013

I’m going to keep this short on account that we’re heading to a baseball game soon.

We spent the morning watching movies and then the Champions League game in the afternoon. Some great goalkeeping in that one. We watched 42, the Jackie Robinson movie, which was a great film. We didn’t really leave the couch until it was time to go to dinner, but it was awesome nonetheless. We soaked our feet in Epsom salts while watching the game.

We headed to dinner at Dogfish Head Alehouse and then got frozen yogurt at Menchie’s. This was our first time having frozen yogurt and it was so good. Watched the Bruins beat the Rangers! I fell asleep on the couch once again, but another awesome day off. We’ve got one more day until we head back to the trail and onto to Harpers Ferry!

Just a note to say how much I’m enjoying following your adventure. Thank you for taking the time to keep up with this blog when I know you have so many other things to do when you aren’t busily dancing along the trail. You make me so wish I were there, too. Your zero holiday sounds awesome, too, and hope it sends you back to the trail with even more enthusiasm. Take care, stay healthy and hang on to the memories. Best wishes, UtahJean.

I love dogfish head. The Punkin’ Ale the put out in October is amazing.
